Continuous Evaluation through LMS:

  • Continuous Evaluation have 25% weightage in assessments. After completing the above learning activities the student would get access to the subject wise assignments

  • Assignment 1 (MCQ Based Objective Type Questions)
    • The Assignment 1 would be conducted through the Learning Management System (LMS)
    • The student would get 50 random questions of 2 marks each (100 marks).
    • The said assignments are based on the course outcome for every subject. After clicking the timer is set at 1 hour and student need to attempt all 50 questions.
    • For Passing criteria please refer the website for the said guidelines.
    • The system evaluates the objective assignments and displays the scores to the students.
  • Assignment 2 (Subjective Assessment):
    • The subjective assignments are based on the course outcome for every subject.
    • There would be 5 questions of 20 marks each. (Long Answers).
    • The questions would be based on the course outcome and a rubric would be displayed for the student for the same.
    • The students would need to download the questionnaire from LMS and upload the response sheet on LMS.
  • Assignment 3 – Discussion Forum for every Subject
    • The student should attend every discussion forum scheduled for every subject.
    • There would be one graded discussion forum for a subject, which would be part of continuous evaluation.
    • The said discussion forum would be scheduled within the learning period available for the students

  • Lab Assessments (Continuous Evaluation) (Where Applicable)
    • Lab (For Applicable Courses): Continuous Evaluation
    • The students download the lab assignments and uploads the lab assessment response sheet in LMS.
    • There would be 2 Lab based assignments which would have a overall weightage of 25%. Students would download the lab assignments from LMS. The student would upload their lab-based assignments in the LMS and submit the same for evaluation.

  • Evaluation
    • The University evaluators would assess and enter the marks in the system for every subject for every student in case of subjective assessments
    • The objective type of questions is evaluated by the assessment engine itself.
  • Grading System:
    • At the end of all evaluation components based on the performance of the student, each student is awarded based on absolute grading system. As per the UGC norms, the list of absolute grades and its connotation are given below:

  1. Semester End Examinations:
    • The semester end examinations have 75% weightage.
    • Based on the academic calendar of the university, the exam form would be opened through the website.
    • The university controller of exams declares the exam for various programs offered by the university
    • The students must submit the exam form during this period for the forthcoming exam cycle. Refer Academic Calendar.
    • Students should successfully submit all their assignments before the semester end exams.

Online Examinations Conduction:

  • Students need to have their laptops / desktop with camera for the Online Proctored Examination process. Student should also ensure they have access to good internet connectivity. Online exams cannot be given through Tablets or mobile phone.
  • The question paper pattern for the MBA programme may be adopted as follows:

    (i)  25 Objective type questions – 1 mark for each question (All the question are to be answered by the students)

    (ii)  5 Descriptive Type Questions – 10 marks for each question (Five questions to be answered by the student out of 8 questions)

  • The student would provide his ID card for verification to the online invigilator/proctor.
  • The student logs in on the computer start attempting the questions and enters the response in the system for every question.
  • For subjects where the language is other then English or subjects which may need graphs as questions, the students need to upload the answer sheets in the exam system after each question. This can be done through a QR scan code where the student scans the answer sheet through the app and upload the same in exam portal for evaluation purpose.
  • Results are declared within 45 working days from last date of exam. Mark sheets would be generated with 15 working days from date of declaration of result. Refer Academic Calendar for details.

Project Guidelines

  • For the programs which have project work at the end of the course, the students need to submit a project report in a hard bound copy.
  • The Project Guide would be the immediate supervisor where the student is working and undertaken the said project.
  • Project work would be around 80 to 100 pages as per the format provided by the university.
  • The students should refer the project guidelines as provided by the university
  • The project should be done by the student and must be original and should not be plagiarized.
  • The hard copy of the said project needs to be submitted before the start of the final examination.

  • Part - II
  • Viva, Report Writing and Presentation – 50 Marks

GRADE BOOK

  • Every subject would have continuous evaluation and semester end online examination
  • Weightage on every subject: Continuous Evaluation: 25% and Semester End Exams: 75%
  • The continuous evaluation would be done through the learning management system, while the semester end examinations would be conducted in online mode; wherein the students would receive a link on their registered mail id before the exams start.
  • Examinations would be conducted only for students who have filled the exam form as per the timelines communicated and students who have paid the exam fees.
  • The university follows the grading system for evaluation purpose please refer the university website for the same.
  • The semester end online exams information would be mentioned on university website and the same would be communicated to students well in advance.
  • The score of Objective type of assignment (A1) would be displayed immediately after the assignments are submitted at the respective assignment tab in LMS as the same is system evaluated.
  • The score of Subjective assignment (A2) would be displayed at respective assignment tab in LMS only after the faculty has evaluated the scores.
  • The score of Graded Discussion Forum (A3) would be displayed at respective assignment tab in LMS only after the faculty has evaluated the scores.
  • Lab Test as Applicable would be conducted similar to subjective assessment
  • Only after the semester end results are published the results would be displayed in Grade Book in the student LMS.

 

Academic Query: Messaging System

  • The student can connect with our faculties in case of any academic queries through the messaging system provided through the LMS.
  • The student can raise a query on a topic and submit the same for selected course / subject.

The faculty would be available from 10 am to 5 pm every day for responding to queries raised by students. (Except Sundays and Public Holidays)
